Cultural Resource Management

EcoPlan projects include management of cultural resources as required under the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), including the Section 106 process; the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); the Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA); Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act; the Arizona Antiquities Act; and other state and local historic resource regulations in the western United States. This work is either completed in-house or is completed by qualified sub-consultants under the supervision of EcoPlan’s professional staff. Typical projects include a broad spectrum of cultural resource management activities such as cultural resource assessments, cultural resource site file searches and literature reviews, pedestrian surveys/inventories, National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility testing, data recovery/mitigation, and construction monitoring.
